Pride is one of the seven deadly sins, a set of major vices in Christian teachings. The violet color palette reflects the sin of Pride as it associated with royal and wealth pairing with the visual of a peacock as it naturally represents self-importance and vanity. I illustrated it in a stained-glass style to echo the Christian roots of the concept and to create the feeling of artwork you might see in a church.
