This illustration includes the artistic journey of the artist Vincent Van Gogh from when he started pursuing painting as his calling starting with charcoal studies “Landscape with Houses among Trees and a Figure” to the great “The Starry Night” with moody and desaturated color palette of “The Cottage” to tie both of them in between. The journey from his charcoal study to the starry night- the artwork that got him global recognition is what has been visually shown in this illustration.
