Phool
is an India-based sustainable wellness brand that upcycles discarded temple flowers into products like incense sticks, candles, compost, and biodegradable materials. Founded in 2017 in Kanpur, the company aims to reduce river pollution while creating employment opportunities for marginalized women through its “flower cycling” process.
I created an imagined hibiscus-inspired collection featuring incense sticks, a matchbox, and a candle, along with cohesive packaging designs for the entire collection. The concept draws inspiration from hibiscus flowers, which are prominently used in temple pooja and are often found discarded afterward. This collection reimagines those flowers through a hibiscus-based fragrance, giving them a renewed purpose in a sustainable and sensory-driven product line.
Hence the name Gudhal (Hibiscus flower) Bloom (rebirth, new purpose).
